Last weekend Chris and I had an awesome time shooting a beautiful autumn wedding, for a seriously lovely couple! Yes it was cold *brrr* yes it was windy, and yes it was EVEN rainy, but we were blessed with breaks in the rain so we were still able to get a large amount of photos outdoors, which was exactly what Leanne and Matt really wanted. I have to say that Leanne was one of the sweetest most genuinely joyful brides I have had the privileged of photographing, and it shows in her photos. Her sweet relationship with her parents, her fun bond with her bridesmaids, and her absolute adoration for her new husband was a blessing for me to see, and I enjoyed photographing every minute of your special day. Thank you so much for having us as your photographers, and this is one BIG blog post, because it was super hard to narrow it down to just a few faves! Enjoy checking out this wedding, and Leanne and Matt I hope to work with you again one day!

The adorable flower girls, awaiting the limo to arrive…

This group of bridesmaids was so fun, AND they were all Dancers, so we had to play that up a bit with some dancy poses

Some Groomsmen shots courtesy of my Husband, Chris!

OK so I have to be honest and add that this was the most “difficult to shoot in” ceremony venue I have experienced to date, it was extremely dark and heavy wood walls/ceiling, with a bit of natural light at the very front (very quaint and beautiful though! Just not a photographers friend). So when shooting directly in front of the bride and groom they were coming out very dark, and since the ceiling was heavy wood there was no where to bounce flash, so what I ended up doing was shooting directly behind them instead! That way I was able to utilize the natural light coming from the high windows in the front of the little chapel, and capture these sweet shots….gotta love a challenge!

Some of the Fall themed decor, the leaves were a fantastic alternative to flowers…

And we finish off with the “first dance” as hubby and wife….sooo sweet…congrats again you two love birds!
