{twins} York Region Newborn photography

Last friday I had the privilege of shooting a session for newborn twin boys, for a family that I have photographed in the past.   These baby boys were so good and adorable, and I really enjoyed holding them, soothing them to sleep and  capturing their ‘newness’.  Their big sister was so sweet with them, and it was such a nice calm home, you’d think with twins it would be full of tears and stress, but that was not the case!  I hope to photograph this sweet family again in the future, for now here are a few of my favorite shots from the session…soak up the cuteness…

gorgeous september night

Two beautiful ladies, some awesome {secret} locations, a 50 mm 1.4 lens,  delicious golden sunset light = a gorgeous september night…

super sun shot….
Did NOT need to retouch these ladies at all, just pure gorgeousness….

my little ones :)

A little friday blog post, featuring my little ones, whom I have realized are growing up way too fast…the more pictures I take of them, the more I can slow time down a little more, and keep those childhood memories alive…yes I am looking forward to watching them grow into adults, but right now I want to keep them just like this for a little longer….

Elise & Dan {wedding photography} Georgetown, Ontario

A few weeks ago my assistant/hubby Chris and I went to Georgetown to shoot Dan & Elise’s beautiful outdoor wedding at the gorgeous Pipers Heath Golf Club.  I have actually known Elise since we were little girls, through a mutual friend, and we spent many fun days at our friend’s cottage in the summer times.  Elise was a glowing, happy and radiant bride, and definitely super easy to photograph:)the weather was gorgeous, everyone was in good spirits and it was a fun day all around!  Here is a small taste of their wedding for you to check out and enjoy, it always hard to choose favorites, but this first shot is definitely high on my list!

Great set, Shelley! Diggin’ that big tree.

family photography {unionville, ontario}

I am about to share with your one of my absolute favorite family sessions I have ever shot to date (and I have shot A LOT of family sessions in my day!)  Beautiful, happy, colourful, and soft images are what I strive for, so when it all comes together perfectly, I can’t help but be a happy photog.  This family was adorable, and lovely to work with, and their little girl was out of this world smiley, which made things even more lovely!  All the images in this post are slim to none edited, most are straight off the card with no editing, and I love them just the way they are.  Check them out, and let me know what you think…
