the mirecki {zoo}

Last saturday evening I had the chance to photograph a sweet family from our church, affectionately known as The Mirecki Zoo. We picked a location with lot’s of green to showcase their families favorite colour (check out Dad’s business carpages.ca, if you live in town you may see his green car jetting around) (and check out Mom’s blog http://cafemirecki.blogspot.com/ she is a homeschooling/baking Mama with a heart for the Lord) We had a great time snapping away during our session, with breaks for “nibs” candy in between of course, and I am so pleased with the shots, enjoy Mirecki family! Here are some of my faves…hard to just choose a few!

one way ticket to sister town…

On friday we all piled in the car and set out for Burlington to visit my sister, we had plans for fun, and we also had plans to do a “sister shoot”, Chris agreed to take some shots of us, and we had two locations already scoped out ready to go. Some shots were serious, some shots were silly, and some even had fire in the background, we had so much fun…and Chris captured some really nice shots…hopefully these will be a great memory and we will look back and smile at them someday when we are little old ladies sipping earl gray tea in rocking chairs! So thankful for the best sister in the world, thankful we are so close, thankful we can have fun and be silly, and thankful that she makes me smile…love you Lucy xoxo

Must say, my sister is GORGEOUS…had to snap a few of her in her own

{engaged} with the sun

I had a lovely engagement session with Catherine and Tim, with some beautiful evening light, and since I know Catherine check’s out my blog every now and then, I knew I had to feature her and her Fiance’ in a post! Tim & Carolyn {tie the knot}

The beautiful Muskoka wedding of Tim and Carolyn has hit the blog, I had a wonderful time shooting their wedding with my husband by my side, it was a cloudy day, so I was loving the way these look in black and white. It’s hard to choose a small amount to post, so I chose a variety that I feel shows how sweet and special the day was…so excited for the bride and groom to see them ALL !
